The Yampa River is one of the West's last wild rivers and one of the finest Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike fisheries in the United States. Snaking its way through Steamboat Springs it affords its visitors spectacular fishing, challenging kayaking and lazy tubing.
The city of Steamboat Springs and surrounding area is home to many geothermal hot springs for which the town is named. The largest is a half mile from the hotel and offers its guests a relaxed dip in the mineral pools. Strawberry Park Hot Springs is located a few miles north of town and offers spectacular Stargazing.
